Potential Store Fronts, 2007
9 x 15 x 30 feet
Wood, Plexi, paint, neon lights, mylar and other faux surfaces, light boxes, vinyl lettering, carpet, fake plants, exit signs, misc.
An installation sponsored by the Public Art Fund and installed in Lower Manhattan. The façade of a fictional travel agency/life-coach training storefront was completely rebuilt four times within the empty store giving the illusion of an infinity mirror without the use of mirrors. The content of the store alludes to the dissonance between the plastic nature of our inner self and the expansive encounter with the corporeal.
